What’s Happening on Derby Day?
🥂 Kick-Off with Legendary Bone-Style Mimosas
Begin the day at 11:00 AM with our signature Bone-Style Mimosas, a refreshing start to the festivities. Sip, savor, and get ready to race!
🏇 Derby Game: Race Slate Stakes (no gambling, just for fun)
Tables: Four racing tables, each hosting 6 jockeys per game.
Choose Your Jockey Pseudonym: Get creative with your name—whether you’re “Mint Julep Master,” “Galloping Glory,” or “Southern Silks,” you’ll race in style.
Sign Up Early: Spots are limited, and races fill fast! Pay the $5 buy-in to reserve your gate and pseudonym, supporting Steele-n-Jo’s Bone.

Slate Schedule: Races kick off on the hour at 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM 4:00 PM.
Winner’s Bracket: After the official Kentucky Derby race, winners from earlier slates compete head-to-head for ultimate glory.
Legacy Round: The final slate at 8:00 PM brings all jockeys together for one last thrilling race.
Prize Vault: Earn play money during the game and use it to select prizes from tiered vaults, culminating in the Bone Derby Day Grand Prize for top earners.
🎩 Derby Hat Contest
After the Kentucky Derby Race at 4:57 PM MST, show off your finest, boldest, or quirkiest Derby hat.
Compete in two categories: People’s Choice and Judged Contest. Winners will receive a legenday prizes and, of course, bragging rights!

Put your Kentucky Derby knowledge to the test! Trivia questions will appear on the screen throughout the day. Race against the clock (and your fellow race fans) to answer within 30 seconds—no phones allowed, remember there is NOWIFI in Bone!
🍗 Delicious Southern Fare
Indulge in a delightful menu that celebrates the flavors of the South:
Mint Juleps – The quintessential Derby cocktail. (refreshing cocktalis from a can, poured over ice in a Derby Day Cup, remember, we don’t have a liquour licnese)
Smoked Chicken – Steele’s Tender Chicken, Bone-A-Fide Smoked perfection.
Charcuterie Skewers – A combination of meat, cheese, and fresh fruits, served conveniently.
Mini Southern Pecan Pies – Sweet treats to end on a high note.
When they are gone, they are gone. We never know who’s coming to Bone, so we will smoke what we smoke, bake what we bake, and skewer whatever is left. IF you RSVP, I’ll make sure to save some for you.
