For the Love of Bone we’re celebrating our 2nd Annual Bone Derby Days!
This officially is Steele‑N‑Jo’s Bone’s signature spring celebration — a Kentucky Derby watch party with a wild Idaho twist.

Guests gather on the hill for mint juleps, smoked chicken, charcuterie skewers, mini pecan pies, and a full day of connection, laughter, and friendly competition.

The Derby Game brings out everyone’s inner jockey, with slates, prizes, and bragging rights up for grabs. Big hats, bold colors, and legendary Bone‑style mimosas and Bloody Mandy Jo’s kick off the day, leading into the live Kentucky Derby broadcast and a community‑voted Derby Hat Contest.

It’s a joyful, spirited tradition honoring legends, legacies, and the freedom of gathering out where the wild things are.

Derby Day Racing Game: Slates start at 1:00 PM & run to 4:00 PM

Every player races under a Jockey Pseudonym — your alter‑ego for the day. Think bold, funny, punny, or downright legendary. You’ll use this name on all your slates, race calls, and prize boards. Bring your jockey name with you or create one at check‑in.
The Derby Game runs in slates — each slate is one full race.

  • $5 per slate
  • No cash payouts (prizes only — this supports keeping Bone alive and wild)
  • Minimum of 5 slates per jockey
  • You may play more if seats are available
  • Winners earn prize credits to redeem at the Prize Table
  • Slates run throughout the day leading up to the Kentucky Derby broadcast

To play the Derby Game, you must reserve a table. Seating is limited and fills fast.

Outdoor Play (Weather Permitting)

  • Additional tables may be opened outside if the sun is shining and the wind behaves.
